Option to preserve line-breaks
Some users who are not used to writing in markdown find it irritating that markdown does not preserve line-breaks. I could add an option somewhere to make them be preserved. What does everybody think?

I think the simplicity of markdown is its beauty, and there is already an option in markdown to preserve white space. Those who want this 'extra features' should learn markdown, it is not that bad to add 2 white spaces at the end of the line. And usually, why would you need that anyway? I think we explicitly do *not* want a fully featured WYSIWYG word processor. Keep it simple!

Currently, you can preserve line-breaks by adding two spaces to the end of a line. We are talking about preserving normal line-breaks in addition to that.
