Collaboration on Thought Plans
Hi everyone! It’s been a while but I recently relaunched Thoughtplan. Apart from a complete rewrite, a prettier and faster UI, this release also includes a teams-feature so you can collaborate on thoughtplans!
Please try it out and let me know if you have any feedback. Log into your account here: https://app.thoughtplan.com
Best,
Max

I currently develop ebooks with a team, and it would be great if we could use this as a central repository for our thoughts on a project. and for marketing. and for design. and for... everything.
it's quick and easy to read and feels nice.
but we need to be able to all work on it and get notified of changes (with the ability to opt out, or control frequency).
Happy to discus my work flow and how I could see some of the issues with changes amongst a team (I'm a former UX guy in a past life, so happy to help with suggestions if need be).
Thanks for the tool!

Hey Curtis, thanks for sharing some insight on your workflow and the tools you use. This is helpful while I am developing this feature. I hope to have something to show for collaboration soon.

I love the look of Thought Plan, but for it to be useful for me, I need live collaboration. I work online with another developer and we voice-chat over OS X's Messages app while editing the same docs. We currently use Quip, which does live collaboration and in-line commenting really well, but the notification system is lacking and it doesn't use Markdown.

Thanks for the feedback Anika and Xurxo, I'm taking everything into consideration and it's good to know what is important to you guys. So if you have any more, let me know!

Perhaps different users' edits could appear in different font colours to easily see who has written what

After sharing, I would love to be able to tell between my original plans and plans created by others and shared with me. Don't know if different colours or having two tabs

Thanks for commenting on this, Fyoucon! I agree, I still need Google Docs because of collaboration and I want to change that, too. :)

Sharing the entire though plan for a project is critical for any product with more than 1 developer. While thoughplan is great in it's current form, it's the one thing that keeps it from replacing a thing like google doc for stuff like that.

seardluin from reddit is suggesting rights management to give users view / edit / delete rights individually. Taking note of this hear and interested in opinions.

Ok, I agree. I was just asking because the title said "shared thoughts". I've edited it to make it more clear.

Entire thought plans, because who makes one big plan called "games" and then stuffs all the different games in that?

Is this for sharing individual thoughts for collaboration? Or is this for sharing entire thought plans?
